Jillian Ohl is an artist, illustrator, and designer working in the Smoky Mountains of western North Carolina. She received her Bachelor’s of Art+Design from North Carolina State University
in 2014 and her MFA in Illustration and Visual Culture from Washington University in St. Louis in 2022. Her work teeters
the balance of fine art and illustration with works on paper
and zines examining fashion, pop culture, humor, femininity,
and sense of place combining watercolor, drawing, printmaking, and the physical act of collage.

Jillian has exhibited her work throughout North Carolina and
her stationary and print line can be found in many regional galleries and gift shops. She has taught classes and workshops at North Carolina Museum of Art, North Carolina State University, Sawtooth Center of Visual Art, Artspace Raleigh, Appalachian State University and is currently Assistant Professor of Graphic Design at Western Carolina University.

She works for a wide range of clients, her favorite being her mom. When not attempting to make some cool stuff, she is watching an unhealthy amount of television and movies.

And yes, I do live portraits at events and love saying yes to project ideas. Contact at jillianohl@gmail.com
